Martin Engineering offers plasma cutting, marking, and engraving to make
CAD/CAM designs a reality. Any design of holes and end cuts can be plasma cut
on the Dragon A400. The machine marks clear bending instructions such as bend
location, rotation, and degrees on the tube.
We can import STEP & IGES files that are supported by most CAD software;
such as Solidworks, Tekla, SDS2, AutoCAD, ProEngineer, and more. Once imported,
the Dragon CAD will trace all of your CAD geometry and convert it into a CAM
ready file. This process normalizes along the cut path for a weld ready part.
The CAM ready file is read by the Dragon A400 for CNC production

When your business relies on having a quality source of 3D and plasma tube
cutting, it pays to work with a full-service provider. Our 3D plasma has 6-axis
cutting with a simultaneously controlled chuck rotation. This means that it
can process complex features, end cuts, corner cuts and/or tab and slot cuts
in the same operation. This eliminates costly tooling and fixturing usually
required in the process of manufacturing your products.
